Although it is now spring, we really wish it would skip straight to summer!  It seems like the freedom and beauty of summer weather can’t get here soon enough!  Until then we will have to settle for staying indoors and playing music. Music:

We are in the planning and arranging stages for our upcoming album, which is very exciting. This much anticipated project has been too long in coming, but it is finally in the preparation and pre-recording stages.  It has always been a challenge to balance a busy family, personal lives, with that of being serious musicians in a band.  There are about a million excuses that don’t matter, what matters now is getting in the studio! 
We are personally very excited to have a fresh opportunity to record our original tunes and arrangements.  For the last approximately two years we have been progressing and changing in our paradigm of what we can musically accomplish.  Stay tuned as we will keep updates coming as often as we can about the most recent developments in the new album!

Family:

We are in a stage of preparation now as school is rapping up for the year and we are planning the summer and falls months ahead.  It is that familiar last stretch in the school year where endurance pays off in the final straight away.  Derek will be the first to officially get out of school on June 3rd.  David finishes not long after on June 10th, and because Daniel and Darien are still home-schooled, well let’s just say they finish when they finish ;)
